Lifetime Achievement Award

“Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.”

I always feel so grateful and a little surprised when I get these kind of awards because they are my motivation to continue to advocate for Mental Health as a Counselor. The gratitude comes from a place where I feel so thankful for all the clients…their referrals and their heartwarming loyalty. I work hard to provide mental health counseling to ensure i give my clients the healing in a nonjudgemental safety space .

Its always rewarding to offer my clients professional support and therapy. It's a big step in addressing challenging situations and in finding solutions that work for clients. I help clients develop the psychological skills they need to find happiness, build satisfying relationships and achieve personal growth. With the right guidance and support,i assist clients to break free from the past, feel good again and enjoy intimacy and peace in their relationships.

Awards are a vessel which propels me to reflect on the hard work that has gotten me to where I am. sacrifices I have made; the missed evenings putting my kids to bed, the missed events, time with my family and friends, working weekends and 7 days a week in the busy season. I do it because I Love it. I love it because I continue to have the most supporting family. They know that I do this to provide a great service to clients who trust me with their biggest asset in life…their mental health. And I never take that for granted.

Each year I set goals and I have been lucky enough to surpass them each year. I do this because I believe in myself and know that my true motivation is to help people. I love to be able to serve from a place of love and joy. I love people and this career has allowed me to meet amazing clients. I get a glimpse into people’s lives and I can truly say we are all the same. We all want to provide for our families. Make the best decision. Feel joy and happiness and above all love. I can truly say I have transformed a lot of my clients lives and I’m the one who is blessed to learn from all of them.

In the midst of this pandemic my goal has been to continue to advocate for Mental health, everyday i recieve dm's from strangers of how my posts enlighten them .This positive feedback motivates me to continue to grow in my profession by expanding my knowledge,i will always treasure the advice i recieved from my parents that" Knowledge is power"that has always been my drive.

I will leave you with some motivational words of wisdom.

"Look at your life. Look at the ways in which you define who you are and what you’re capable of achieving". Look at your goals. Look at the pressures applied by the people around you and the culture in which you were raised. Look again. And again. Keep looking until you realize, within your own experience, that you’re so much more than who you believe you are. Keep looking until you discover the wondrous heart, the marvelous mind, that is the very basis of your being.-Tsoknyin Rinpoche
