An open letter to myself on my 39th Birthday!

Dear Thandi,

Let me start by saying- look how far you've come from just a year ago! Congratulations on turning 39. Your journey to this day has been very exciting and challenging so far, I know.

Thandi, you turn 39 today. Every day is a birthday; you really should believe that. You know that you should celebrate life daily, and you also believe that you should celebrate the lives of those you love every day.

One of the most important lessons you have learned in the last 365 days was that you should never take life for granted; life is not a given. Anything can change in a split second…

In the last year, you have not only survived a pandemic, but you have also found your purpose, started your private practice in Counseling and weathered some challenging storms. You also started your blog and podcast. Worked hard on your career development, I am happy for you you also became a Certified Professional Life Coach. I am proud of who you have become and all you have achieved last year.

You know what you want. You know what you need to do. Keep doing all of the great things you’ve been doing, listen to yourself, and I know this year will bring you just as much happiness as the year that came before it. Here’s to another great year living happily ever after now!. I want to thank God for a new year. Today is a blissful day. I pray for many more bright years of life and I'm thankful for all of you.

I am grateful for how far I have come. Amidst the challenges and pain that life throws at me, I am getting better by the day. I am filled with excitement for this new year.

Here comes a new year, new achievements, and new adventures. Happy birthday to me! It is a privilege to live through another year in good health, peace, and accomplish great feats. Happy birthday to me!.

As I count the number of years that I have spent in this world, I reflect on my blessings, and I look forward to what the future has to offer. Wonderful birthday to me.
